Hey there guys time for my 2nd post. I was really suprised though that zforums sent me a letter saying they missed me haha. I guess u could say it was fate. Anyways so about a 3 weeks ago my Z started having idling problems. So I got her home and looked under the hood and heard a kind of crackling noise coming from the injector or it could be the coil overs on the spark plug. Im ultimately trying to change the coil pack but these things cost 160$ and I don't have the cash to throw down right now. I have already put 10,000 into my engine and it still doesn't run right. I should have bought a SR22TT for 2,500 and dropped it into it. Anyways does this sound right to any of you? The coil pack? Like i said its making some clicking, or crackling noise either in the injector or the coil pack. Thanks for all your help you guys are the ****!

 

Well, instead of throwing money at something why not read up on diagnostic procedures, or read the FSM? If you fallow the FSM word for word you cannot get it wrong.

 

blue kits tune has a set of coil packs for sale. ive never heard of a coil pack clicking.

the injectors click when power is going to them but if youve spent 10 grand on the motor why werent the injectors change to begin with? as well as the coil packs? And whats an sr22tt?

Start by ohm testing the injectors, should be 11-14. Theres a way to test the coil packs, do a search for it, its some where.
