Restored ride height

The old tired suspension on my '96 Z32 had sagged 1 to 2 inches over the years, with camber so bad you could tell just by looking at the car, Tired of scraping the license plate over dips and bumps I began looking for replacement coil springs. Months of searching, I couldn't find any.(discontinued) and I'm not interested in lowering springs. I finally took a chance and replaced all the shocks and related rubber (mounts, bumpers, bushings, etc). The ride height is now back to OEM specs

Surprisingly, the old shocks/struts are still good after 25 years, though pretty rusty in some areas. I probably could have gotten by without replacing them, as there is no appreciable difference in ride quality with the Excel-G replacements, They feel exactly the same... superb OEM handling as the designers intended.

Bottom line... if your Z is sagging, and you want to keep it OEM, try replacing all the shock/strut bushings, mounts, bumpers, and boots. It worked for me without replacing the coils!
