Best width?

Im looking to upgrade my wheels and not sure how wide to go?
I auto X and would like to start Drifting. 17X?

The car is a Non turbo with suspension and a bunch of bolt on's. I will be swapping the motor next year or so (VH45DE) so I would not mind being on the wider side

Right now I have stock TT set up
7.5 Fronts and 8.5 Rears

Keep the stock TT wheels for now. If you plan on keeping the vh stock they should be plenty. if you are planning on putting a blower or turbo the VH I would look at 10" wheels in the rear.
