Another wheel thread - would like your opinions

Pain in the butt process this has been. This is the style I have been trying to find that would clear the front calipres. The ADR Sport M's would have worked but a was looking for something a bit more polished but not 'bling, bling'.

Anyway, the place I am buying from is having them test mounted on a Z32 to guaranty fit. They are 18x8.5 w/ 35mm offset.

Fire away, let me know what you think of them.

I've seen that style of wheel on a Z. I thought wow, they look pretty nice. Although I'm kinda stuck on the 5-spoke designs. Are they going to have that big of a lip?

Yes, I think it's a 2 inch lip. I ordered a set of HP Evo's about 2 months ago that were very similar. They were a 40mm offset and had less curvature in the spokes and as a result didn't clear the flont calipers.
I was lucky enough to have found a Z owner near the supplier and arranged for a test fit. Hopefully I'll get some good news Monday.
I can't say I blame you being stuck on the 5 spoke design. They are nice. Up here in Canada, that's what everyone has on their Z's. I wanted something a little different that didn't involve "spinners".
Thanks for the reply!

20", double chrome, spinners.
A serious need for as much attention as possible or some other compensation for something lacking?

I like your chosen style. How much are you paying for? and from where? I'd look awsome on the Z.

Yes, I'm sure you would look awesome on the Z. j/k

I am getting them from a Canadian dealer. 18x8.5 all the way around w/ 245/40/18 rubber. Hub centric, mounted, balanced, spline lugs and shipped for just under $3,000 CDN or approx. $2,300 USD. Website is www.bigwheelz.com
He can also get a staggard set up for this wheel...8.5 up fronts, 9.5 rears.
In the US, I believe (don't quote me) AZA wheels are excusively carried by Wheelmax. Their site is www.wheelmax.com. Price on their site is $1600 US, not sure what kind of rubber they are including though.

Prices on their site look pretty good and they have a wide selection.

What kind of rubber? Do you mean size or brand?
I went with 245/40/18's. They fill the well nicely. No rubbing issues. My Z is still stock height.
Brand, depends on what you want to spend I suppose. I ended up going with Falken 451's. Too early to tell if I am happy with them but I could have definately gotten better.

I'll get pictures up soon (believe it or not I don't own a digi cam).

My wife's funny. I can spend what ever I want on the Z but I can't justify a digital camara. So far, I am happy with that trade off.

Those rims are dope, but I personally like the M-sports better. I also am a big fan of the 5 spoke design. Look into the 5Zigen Copse (2 piece 18 wheel) or the Nismo Lmgt4 I think is the model (Extremely light 17lbs for a 18in rim)
