Bose System

I have a Bose in my car '93. I'm not worried about it too much b/c I plan to remove the system in the near future but I was wondering if someone has this problem. The system keeps cutting on and off periodically and there's a clicking noise that comes from somewhere around the fire wall on the passenger side of the car. I had the same glove box problem in my car as a few of you so I was checking ro see if this was a common problem also.

Mine did that because I had a Kenwood head unit in it, and supposedly Kendwood isn't as compatible with BOSE as say Pioneer or Alpine. They said the amp that powered the speakers was already hot and when I turned it up it would start to overheat and go into saftey mode and shut off. I replaced the head unit, problem stopped.

I've never touched the system everything is stock. It'll just cut off then come back on then stay on for awhile then cut off for a while, really it does whatever it wants, although it seem to happend more when it's cold outside.

If it's a loose wire, you need to find it and fix it or pay someone to do it for you. If it's soemthing defective in the stereo itself, you'd generally replace it.
