what happened?

okay im in the process of replacing my head gaskets
and im starting 2 loosen the bolts on somethign that has a pully thast connected 2 the bolts
and all this green/yellow stuff came flying out
what was it?
and is it a bad thing that happened?

green/yellow stuff.... that's pretty detailed.

Could you be more specific? Was it liquid? Gaseous? Solid? Powdery? Greasy?

Green/yellow is usually coolant... but you shouldn't have coolant by removing tensioner pulleys.

Can you post a pic?

well at first when i loosened the bolt it u coudl hear liek air comign out
so gaseous
then green stuff started coming out with the it in the air
my only guess is it has sumthign 2 do with the a/c?
wats wrong!!!

well you either pulled your a/c compressor or the water pump.

Only if you like cold air to come out of the vents on the dash. Of course you are now responsible for a 25 kilometer increase in the hole in the ozone layer over the south pole and all the emperor penguins will suffer.

so if that was my a/c
all it does is not have cold air come out the vents?
cuz i never use the a/c anyways

does it effect my engine in anyway?

Not one bit!

But it will reduce the effectiveness of the windshield defrost system.
