Update On Build Progress...
The weather has become a little wintry so I've been getting a lot done inside where its warm, and, dry...
I finished the wiring...
I've still got to loom some of it, but, the connections are complete.

All of the controls are in place...
I could drive it if it had a windshield.

The fuel cell is in place, and, the plumbing is complete...

The fuel cell will be isolated from the interior using aluminum plate...
A trap door will allow access to the filler hole. There wasn't a practical way to use the stock fuel neck.

I got real lucky with this build. Everything but the rear end came out of this car (the rear end was out last time). The engine was built from the crank, out. All new wiring was installed. All new fuel system was installed. The list goes on. The great news is, when I put some fire in the wires, and, I flipped that starter switch, she spun a few times, then came to life. As Dr. Frankenstein might say, "It's alive!! It's alive!!"
Wanna' hear it run?

yeah that's great. i can't imagine a feeling better than knowing that everything is so clean as it is in that car. i've seen a good many race cars and more of race boats, and i've seldom seen one with wires and everything else that clean and organized. great job.

that's slick, period. You still work at FFR, correct John? What's the deal on the 65 spyder? They aren't going to dis-continue the Coupe any time soon, are they?
Damn that thing is a beast. I now feel inspired eventhough i have no plans to do that much mod to my zx. She's a weekend cruiser for life, not a true racer. Like i have the resources anywayz lol. Beautiful car man, love the color.

The Spyder is history, NLA. The Daytona Coupe is still in production.
