Does anyone know where to get a Universal Joint for a 1985 300zx turbo? I went to O'reily and all that they had listed was one for a non-turbo not a turbo. I tried to match up one that looked like it but tonight i found out...it must have been a few thousandths off or something in that nature. I also tried Nissan and all that they had shown on the computer was the whole drive shaft. Does anyone have any information about where to get a universal joint?

 

The stock driveshafts do not contain replacable U-Joints. You would have to take it to a driveshaft shop and have them replaced.

 

Az-Bum..if they do not carry replacable u joints what does the machine shop do? Do they repair your old u-joint or do they just have the hook up and can get replacable ones, or do they replace the whole drive shaft

 

They will press the original ones out, and machine then to fit replacable ones. Many Z31 owners have done this.
