Hi i just got a 1984 300zx turbo 50th anni. when i got it it wouldn't idle i replaced the FICD and TPS still would not idle... me and my dad fiddled with it and had it going where you can give it gas and it would rev up, i drove off and no accl or power took forever to get up to even 55mph. i replaced all the plugs, distributor, cap ,router, and wires i did the timing because i felt like it could be that everyone said it wasn't so i got a gun and checked it which it was off badly! i lined it all up correct since then it just turns over i hear a little putting coming from the exhaust then i smell gas. i was also told to replace the crank sensor? not sure if that would help or not its $149.99 so i want to make sure first. Not sure what to do i need any info that i can try out please and thank you!

 

are you getting spark? what is your fuel pressure? it was running before you timed it so I would double check how you set the timing.

 

yes i got spark to all plugs and like 51 fuel pressure.
