O2 Sensor control wire
O2 Sensor control wire
Just bought an O2 sensor for my 87 z/na new sensor has 2 white and 1 black wire. but my car has 1 yellow, 1 green/yellow stripe, and one black. I need to know which wire is the signal wire on my car. (Yellow, Green, or Black?) I know the black wire on the O2 sensor is it's signal wire, and the white have no polarity. Could use some help, Please.
Yeah it was a universal. I really needed my car so I just did what freelancebum said and went and bought the one with the harness already attached. Thank for the help though. This site rocks. I'm sure I'll need you're help in the future.
actully this would help me out alot because i just bought an air/fuel gauge for my car. Which wire is it that sends the signal to the computer? any help would be great i've tried all three with diffrent results:
(above the connecter)
Thick grey wire: NOTHING no lights at all!
Thin yellow: It goes to the very lien side of the gauge and turns off when you hit the brakes!
Thin blue Wire:goes the the extreme rich side of the gauge and stays there!
The yellow wire is the only one i had connected while actully driving and I wanted awhile for the sensor to actully get up to temp.
any help would be nice
