no power

my 1984 non turbo will not go faster than 10 miles a hour and it sounds like a truck. i looked under the hood and the passenger side manifold was red hot. i need some help with this any ideas.

Sounds Like your cat is clogged, unbolt the exhaust(from the down pipe) and see if it runs better. If it dosen't then your passenger side is running way too lean.
