Help!

auxiliary running lights are not working. only the tail lights though. everything seems fine. checked fuses bulbs etc. my licences plate lights work... my brakes light up when i apply the brakes.. the side markers work.. head lamps and front running lights work. what is the deal?

Either you are using the wrong bulbs or you put them in backwards.

Did you verify that you are using the correct bulbs? Installed correctly? (yes... it's hard to install the backwards, but some people manage to still screw it up). Did you try a voltage test?

yes sir, i did install the bulbs correctly. i can't imagine how someone would mess that up. but no.. a voltage test is my next step. i have to get my hands on a tester, or a multi-meter. i was just wondering if there was some sort of relay box that i was unaware of or something like that.

The tail light sensor is bad. Replace it. It's attached to the tail light's harness. It's that little white/black/purple box about the size of a pocket camera.
