AC issues

Hey guys. My AC is giving me some problems. I have a very small leak somewhere, but that isn't the issue. When I go to fill the thing up with freeon (hoowever you spell it), the air doesn't get any colder. I tried putting in more than one can and still it isn't any colder, and by that I mean it isn't cold at all. Any ideas?

are you using r-134 in an r-12 system? r-12 is pretty hard to get ahold of, and i would assume that you have r-134. if thats the case, and it hasnt been done, you need to convert the ac system from r-12 to r-134.

Yeah, I already converted to r-134. I had to replace my receiver/drier a while back, but two cans got the thing cold. After a long while it stopped being cold again, but it was winter, so I waited to refill it, but now that I tried, it isn't cold anymore.
