3.90 with LSD

3.90 with LSD
My 84 300zx turbo has a 3.7 LSD differential that the previous owner swapped in.I would like to switch to the 3.9 differential for a little bit more acceleration but I would like to retain the LSD.I am just wondering if that is something than can be done with basic hand tools or if I would need machine work AND/OR mega expensive components?
