any members been thru fixing ac condenser fan?
here is what i have checked so far.
1. fuse is ok
2. relay is ok
3. water tem switch is ok
4. ground at condenser fan motor is ok
5. fan motor is workinf ok (direct 12 volt supplied)
6. found open wire from relay to fan motor connector.
7. found open wire from water temp switch to relay.

should i just connect fan motor direct to ac compressor clutch?

my z was getting hot one day with ac on (outside temp was 103).

if i turn the ac off then engine temp drop to normal.

i was thinking because of malfunction of ac condenser fan cause the over heating problem.

any body had this symptom to your turbo z (mine is 1986)

help need it here .

I would start with fixing these two wires.

 

That fan will only kick on when you car reaches a super hot temp. Ive only seen mine come on like once, but i do alot of night driving.

 

replaced all the wiring for the ac fan.
and also replaced the ac condenser switch.
and the fan kicks in with when temp reaches 210 or 22o with the ac on.

 

so you fixed it?

 

Yes it's fix and works fine now.
I can ac condenser fan kicks in.
