Hey all,

I just wanted to getta feel for what the symptoms were for other z car owners when their fuel pump went. Mine currently starts to jerk when it hits 2000rpm and I'm thinking its my pump because I filled it up before I got the issue. Some say it could be my MAF but I doubt it.. Any feed back would be nice.

Check out a free factory service manual at XenonZ31 Reference along with other cool docs. Very useful, especially the diagnostic/testing pages in the FSM. Easy to follow.

You don't give model, year, tranny, mileage, etc., so we have a guessing game here. Your fuel pump is not necessarily the problem because they very rarely go bad. Have seen only one bad fuel pump in 28 years. My guess is your problem is elsewhere. Check your FSM for your sensor locations and test them. Your computer (ECCS/ECU) is getting bad or no info from somewhere and is mis-directing your fuel injection/ignition. And please provide a bit more info.
