Greddy stopped making their adjustable pop off valves, and I can't find anyone else who makes anything similar. Anyone know of another adjustable POV that works? This sucks! I should've bought one a long time ago, I guess.

You don't really need one....

It's purpose is to protect from overboosting in case the wastegate fails. If you have a sticky wastegate, fix it. If your system is built like a tank, remove it.

Or, if you can't live w/o one, modify your stock one.

I know I don't need one, but it sure is a nice thing to have if you should happen to overboost and it saves your gaskets from blowing all to hell.

Why can't I stay logged in here anymore? Ever time I do anything, it logs me back out!

And again... you can modify your stock one.

EDIT... GReddy still has them listed: http://www.greddy.com/products/turbo...:Relief+Valve/

Thanks, but if you place an order at any of those places, you'll either find that they have confused the flange with the actual valve, or they will email you shortly telling you that Greddy has discontinued them. I tried like 5 places, hoping someone would just happen to have one in stock, but apparently nobody ever really stocked them. They just dropped shipped them from Greddy. I did call Greddy and verify that they are indeed no longer available.

I'm thinking some plumbing supply place must have something that will do the same thing. All I need is something like this in a 1/4NPT - 1" size and then just find the right spring.

I know the stock one can be modfied, but I'd rather have something adjustable. I could make something, if I could just find the right plumbing parts. Hell, all you need is a big *** 1" inline relief valve that has a ball and spring, and then just find the right spring. I guess I'll end up just plugging the damn thing, although it scares me not to have a little spike protection.

I wish I would have found this sooner. I just sold my Greddy type RS on ebay a few weeks ago, would have held onto it for you if I'd have known...

Edit:

Lurked more, here is the cheapest I have seen in a LOOONG time. I got about 190 for mine, so 100 even is a steal, I hope at least SOMEONE gets this.
