ignition unit transistor
i need to know where i can get one of these. if anyone knows a website i can get it from plz tell me. the part number is 22020-12p11 . any help would be greatly appreciated

you may want to test yours first to make sure it's bad...as the part is not cheap.
To test, check for continuity between all 3 poles. You should have continuity between
1&2
1&3
2&3
and that's numbered any way you chose...doesn't matter..
Personally, if I had one go bad, I'd just buy a used one for a few bucks instead of paying about $90-110 for a new one.

ya i know. i already priced a new one out. 136 dollars. but if i cant find a used one for now im just gunna get the new one.

This thread is 8 years old. Take a trip to your local parts store or junk yard. Or search for a local Z31 on www.car-parts.com.
