hell if you find a wrecked late cobra the engine is what its all about. i do believe they started sc the 04 while the early ones where n/a. but if you can save me the engine and tranny. i will come pull the crank out of the maxima and magically put it in your l28 in a blink. i want a 302.

The VG33's don't use an m90, and the Cobras(like the Lightnings) use an m112.
The pathfinder's VG33 uses an m65(which might be better than an old 90 due to tech advances). m90's are most often found on GM 3800 engines. They were on a few fords too I believe, but the m112 is what the most recent roots blower cobras have been using.

m90's go for 100-200$ on ebay all the time. There were a dozen or so up for grabs the last time I looked. I got a ported m112 for 500$ and I think I spent more than I should have :/ Supercharger housing porting's pretty expensive though from any of the reputable places.

I've heard lots of trouble with people building their own supercharger kits for various cars, with the belt tension and pressure on the snout. I've never really looked into what/why this issue occurs though, so it might be something that can be accounted for during design time, rather than fixed with a total pulley system overhaul later.

i know what the superchargers are off the different cars. thats why i want to stick with the M90 3.5 sueprcharger its for the larger V6's so it should be more than enough for a 2.8 L6 also i have an empty pulley space on my damper pulley. so i planed on fabbing a setup similare to how the alternators are on our cars for tension just a little more robust. im starting to rethink my choice and i think one from a bonneville or GTP grand prix would be best but the cougar just has such a great setup on it already for just piping it to the intake. also, ive seen about 3 people haveing great success with their custom SC setups over on hybridZ so i dont think ill encounter to many problems. maybe some belt slippage but im still a little doubtful on that and even if i do not somethign a little thinking and fabbing cant fix.
