Source for ECU 15-Pin Connector
Source for ECU 15-Pin Connector?
Looking for a new 15-pin part source or part number. I tried the search and fiche, but no luck.
I have an intermittent issue with this harness causing a stall at speed. At rest, I can recreate the issue by wiggling the connector, and then wiggle again to catch the engine before it dies.
I've checked the wires for continuity, resistance, and voltage on the harness side (connector detached) to each of their correct paths, and do not get the same issue if I wiggle the wires while on the VOM, so the wires are secure. Inspection of the sockets and (ECU) pins all looks OK. I've already tried a big wire tie around the ECU to hold the connector snug, but the issue still remains.
The issue started after my Fuel Pump issues thread (now fixed), and I think I may have messed up the connector with all my previous test probing.
Even though the sockets look good, the wires are snug, and I've got good readings on the VOM, I want to disassemble the connector body and check things out. Since I may break it in the process, I wanted to know if these were available (AMP, DigiKey, etc.), first.
If the connector checks out further, I will open the ECU to see if something on the device side is moving, creating this intermittent issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Which is the 15-pin connector? Small 2 row? Large 2 row, or 3 row?
FYI, I highly doubt a separate ecu connector was ever produced or sold by Nissan. It's part of the entire EFI harness. Your best bet is to hit the local junk yards, and cut & splice the new connector. I did that for my 280ZXT Z31T ecu conversion.
