i myself would endup banging into the bars but it doesnt matter because ive decided im going to get one from MSA, its SCCA legal and it only the rear 4 point piece i want with the bar for the harness'.

mark86T has this one in his, if you look at his pics that he has pics of it in his Z and i really like the setup ALOT more. it may be more expensive but all you have to do is drill the holes and bolt it in rather than weld it all together and weld it in.

 

plug in play is more fun. thats cool though, I myself will never get one because my Z isnt going to be a "track car" or "drag" its just going to be fast(I hope). I have seen one of these z31s flipped and all was horrible except behind the t-tops so it looks stout enough for me so...

but thats cool, 350 bucks is certanly do'able, the other kit might be more if you dont know how to weld..., should be sweet. Ill probaly do a roll cage in a older car that I want to get.

 

i can weld just not very good, still a beginer in that field. and because of that im willing to fork out the extra just to "plug and play" like you said. where did you find the pic of the Z31 that was rolled? id like to see it.

 

I saw it at a nissan place that had a bunch of part cars that were in the back, that they were parting out. they said they were moving like 2 months ago and they said they were crushing all their cars so... I dont know if its still there.
