Re: Not a common question
Full of crap. 280zx's had a turbo option from 1981 and up. 300zx's had turbo options from 1984 to the last year they made them.. 1990 and up had optional twin turbos from 90-96
(in north america)
240's from 1969 to through to 260, and 280 and 280zx's till 1980 had no option for turbo.
same goes for cyl heads.. no special heads were available..
NOW Nissan's competition division had all kinds of kits avail for a multitude of performance items as well as lots of aftermarket companies.
An option for Nissan was whether a car had leather or cloth seats! hehehe

Re: Not a common question
I have heard rumors that Nismo might be carrying Superchargers for the new 350Z,
and also the Spec V. I heard it from some Nissan parts guys . They have been playing
with the Eaton on the VG33's in the Frontiers and Xterra's. Will see in the next year what
happens with the introduction of the real NISMO line in the US.

Re: Not a common question
Yea I was reading that in the Z33 boards I think.
But the fact remains these people that never even owned a z.. just knew people that did own them tried to tell me what I knew was wrong.
With that being said, you can get that stuff for them, but not factory stock.. That's would still be post-Nismo...
