I've got a 280ZX 2+2 (n/a) with a 5-speed and I've raced two different Dodge trucks (late model) about 2 years ago. I beat them both although on a half mile race. :-) Two consecutive stoplights too.

1st gear I launched ahead of him but he caught up to me and was just a nose ahead while I went through 2nd gear. Then in 3rd I pulled ahead. Same in 4th he was just a little behind.

I think both were trucks, but one said Magnum V10 on the side and the other Magnum V8.
