A friend of mine took me for a ride in his Viper today. I guess I was expecting more. It was fast, but not as wicked fast as I thought it would be. I didn't think it was much faster than my Z before I tore it apart. It also wasn't that loud. It didn't sound all that mean. I think my truck may be louder.

 

yeah i think it is. i've bin in a viper before. my friends Grand am smoked it too. it ripped it a new *** hole. and my dad's truck was louder. vipers are not as much as people think they are. I wouild not buy one. I'd get a vette and with those extra 40,000 or what not add that Lightning falken TT kit. :d then I'd really spank those vipers.

 

A grand am smoking a viper?? Are you sure the viper had an engine in it?

 

It was a kit car with a Yugo chassis....... The ultimate ricer drift mobile....

 

If a Grand Am beat a Viper the guy driving it should be shot. A Viper can do 0-60 in about 5.3 seconds. A Grand Am in about 8.3. I just dont see this being viable, unless the idiot owner of the Viper just cant drive.

 

Maybe the guy with the Grand Am had dropped an 8.3L V-10 in it haha.

Wow. Nice engine! Now he just needs to get rid of the purple graphics on the side of the car and have the thing de-riced That would be a hell of a sleeper.

So let me get this right. This chick spends an outrageous amount of money to install a rear wheel drive package on a front drive car. Or am i wrong and they kept it front drive. Either way it seems to be a huge waste of money. She could have just bought a GTO and super charged it for less. If it is still a front drive, then the power to the wheels is so intense that traction would be very hard to control. The balance of the car would be shot. Oh and those graphics got to go.

On the plus side the install looks great. They did a very good job of stuffing it in there and making it look good. I do like a nice install even one that seems pretty pointless.

This is justmy observation. I am not trying to cause any issues with anyone. so please take this as what it is, AN OBSERVATION,nothing more.
