need some parts

i was just curious if anyone has an ECU and MAF or AFM whichever you prefer to call it that are in working condition that you would be willing to sell. i need them to put in my 1987 300zx 2+2 N/A 5 speed. i know they are expensive from the part store so i was hoping i could get them from someone here for cheaper. thanks in advance and let me know asap.

If no one here can get them for you, there is always the trusty www.car-parts.com website.

just looked up the #'s and found out that my ECU is federal emissions and the one i got from hoov is california emissions, thats the only difference i can see between the 2. so will it make much of a difference if i put the one i bought from hoov in anyway? im not good with emissions so i dont know what the difference is. thanks.

That was discussed just yesterday: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/300zx-z31-forums-8/wheres-stupid-sensors-23549/

http://www.redz31.com/pages/fuel.html

CALifornia and FEDeral ECU’s can interchange. The only known physical difference in the CAL version is the presence of an EGT sensor.

ECU and MAF are in and functional, car fired right up and ran good. better idle better running all around but i still have a skip and im starting to think o2 sensor. ive replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil,FPR,fuel pump, and now the MAF and ECU. the only things i can think of that are left that would cause the skip is either the o2 sensor or the TPS.
