my cars and I

So I seemed to have missed the intro section so I'm just going to lump it all here. You can call me Angel for now. I have 3 cars. 1. 66 plymouth I'm sloooooowly restoring (shopping for a motor) 2. A 95 civic ex that's my aftermarket daily. 3. My recently purchased 88 300zx.

About the z31 and a bit of backstory. I found the car last year on craigslist for about $1500. It had/has an 86 vg30e with an 88 turbo. Dude I bought it from jumped time and bent 3 exhaust valves. He already broke down the motor and didn't have the money to fix it. I've always had a love of z cars and I was aware of the issues when I bought it. This is why I paid $1500 for a car that doesn't run. I got the motor, all the parts, 2 transmissions, a very very straight body, and the turbo. Plus let me make payments which was a nice little bonus. So I looked over all the parts and what not and determined that the cost to rebuild the motor was going to run about the same as buying one. So I shopped used. I have found a motor and will be going to look at it later this month. Even without seeing it I will probably be purchasing it.

Backstory on the motor. So retired navy mans son sells his 88 z. The buyer was to recieve the car and an additional motor. Well he never came back for the motor. The motor has been kept indoors for approximately 5yrs. The top end was removed and the motor drained. He was very honest about the history of the motor and the car it came from. He also informed me he would thriw in a new clutch since he had no use for it. He gave me an insanely low price that I don't even wish to write for fear of jinxing myself. I will only say its a bit below the price of the clutch itself. Need I say more? He just wants it gone. This will be a custom project through and through. I havr already bookmarked many parts on my new found project and a beautiful end concept. I will be uploading pics in the near future.
