Major/Mini engine issues Z31
Recently picked up a ‘95 Z31 5-spd, it’s got the works rust here and there and a lot of age on the paint. Main thing, guy before me has torn out the EGR, Cruise control, radiator overflow tank, washer fluid reservoir, IACV(replaced with a block off plate.), and has cut and spliced multiple wires and vacuum lines. The car currently, cranks very well, attempts too start up idles at less than 100rpms for about 2-3seconds and then dies. It ran very well once for about 10seconds then slowly died off. I’ve been going through the owners manual and the forums looking for things that I could find being relative too no avail. It has a new fuel pump, alternator, starter, battery, short throw, some odd aftermarket intake that doesn’t support most of the vacuum lines that went too it, I see it also has that PWR-2 upgrade. Any information on my situation would be very helpful. If you need more information about anything specific just let me know!

Right question, wrong forum. This is a z31 forum which serves the 1984-89 300ZX model. The 1995 model is a z32. Or did you make a typo and mean 1985? Go to a z32 forum if you meant 1995,
Your car has been extensively modified by a previous owner. In addition to an owner’s manual, you need a 19xx Nissan 300ZX Service Manual where xx = 85 or 95. It’s harder to trouble shoot an extensively modified car than a car that’s stock and OEM.
