Hey so I am in the middle of doing a head gasket job on my 85 na z31, everything had been going smoothly until I got to the lower intake. (Btw I just got the car and the previous owner ran water instead of coolant so it’s a rusty mess everywhere, I’m in the process of getting everything replaced. In addition to that he didn’t run it for a good 5-6 years before I got it) anyways, I loosened the 3 corner bolts and 4 nuts in the middle, and when I went to loosen the last bolt the one on the passenger side towards the back of the engine, it snapped. Right above the threads. I tried an extractor kit for a few days, I did spray it with pb blaster beforehand and let it sit for a while. I couldn’t get the broken part out, must have been rust welded on their good. I decided I should just drill the sucker out so I did. Most of it anyways. So most of the bolt is gone now and I figured if I just pull on the intake it should break the rest of the bolt and come loose. However I can’t get it to come loose. I even tried getting an engine Jack and pulling it off with that but it just lifted the whole front end. I’m not sure what to do now. Any suggestions?
