i'm near to finish my project VG30DET but..

Hi...

i thorwed away the old project (converting vg30e to vg30et)

and i started a new project..

it's VG30DET Engine and ECU and harness from VG30DETT ..

all things has been done.. still the gearbox.. i'm really confuesed which gear i have to install..

i have the gear for VG30E and and my friend has the gearbox of VG30DETT.. which gear i have to install .. all what i want to know .. is :

the gearbox ratio and final ratio for :
1-VG30E
2-VG30ET
3-VG30DETT
4-VG30DE

I'm sure there are VARIOUS gear ratios depending on the year and options. After reading your post several times, I'm still not sure what you are asking:

When you say "GEAR" do you mean TRANSMISSION? You have a VG30DE block... so use the VG30DE tranny....

yeah. dont use the E tranny use the DE tranny. much stronger. thats all that matters. also, are from another country? that doesnt speak english? this is an honest question cause that was some poor grammer. i also ask because you say you have a VG30DET which was never in the states.

ya i'm not in usa.. anyway i think i'm going with vg30dett TRANSMISSION..

it's JDM engine and bought it cheap (700$)

anyway.. thanks for help ..

87-89 FS5R30A is basically the same as the z32 tranny.

No The case is different.

the internals are somewhat the same

i put it into cedric .. it's luxruy car..

yesterday i found 300zx Z32 Twin turbo for sale .. need paint and some little work .. i'm afraid to buy it.. most people said it's hard to work on it.. and if any problem happened u should take out the engine and see where is the problem..
is it really complicated and hard to work on it??

they are a difficult car. there is alot of uneccessary engine tear downs for stupid problems that can occur.
