hey whats up i jus got got my first 300zx its a 1984 300zx turbo its been sittin for aobut 7 or so years i picked it up for 400 dollers and i was wonderin what things i should be fixin first the car had a new engine put in before it was parked and it runs good and drives fine to

 

make sure she is running good,suspension,brakes,rust/body work,interior etc etc.

 

plugs wires cap rotor, fuel filter, drain and clean the fuel tank flush the fuel lines, battery, oil, trans fluid, diff fluid, coolant, any dry and cracked hoses, vacuum lines, heater hoses,brakes and rotors if they are rusted, flush out the brake fluid and refill and rebleed, relube chasssis most likely replace the wheel bearings...etc

 

Welcome to the site, and congrats on the Z. I suggest the first thing you get is a Haynes manual, available at most parts stores. It will be the best money you will ever spend on the car.

Also, please be sure to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Misspelled run-on sentences are difficult to read.

What really surprised me is the fact that all the electronics in the car still work fine, the power seats, windows, headlights, and even the digital gauges work. As i said i've never owned a 300ZX so all the features are just so awesome.

 

just wait until you get to drive with the digi dash it will blow your mind.
