I hear things,i'm not crazy
Here's the thing. I put new brakes on front n rear. New tires after. When i start to come to a stop, without pressing the brake, i hear coming from my right rear a howl as if the brake is being pressed. Would this be the caliper ? Rotors are good. Now when i took the brakes off on the back, one was worn alot more than the other.
And there was no howl before doing this brake job? Have you re-checked to make sure the pads are seated tight & correctly?
On the rears... do you mean the inside worn more than the outside, or left worn more than the right (or vice versa) ?

Didn't do it before i changed. And the pads, one pad, on the outside and inside, was worn more than the other side. its as if one side is pulling more than the other. i checked and made sure the shims, and pads were set back in right and they were. i'm just hoping its not the caliper, they're $100 each, and i'm so picky, i would replace all of them at one time. if i tap the brake while its happening, it stops and comes back.

So one side of the car was worn more? Check all the ebrake parts to make sure both calipers are pulled & released evenly. If all that checks out, that caliper might be frozen, or one is weaker than the other (seals... air in lines... etc).
well on the left side, the cable was pulled from that bottom clamp where it is missing the slide in part where the cable goes into, but ill check everything at the shop this afternoon after work.thanks for the tips and help man. ill let u know what it was/is.
ok, everything checked out ok, but still cant find the problem. it started after i got the tires put on.. i had to replace to wheel studs today, no biggy... i also cleaned everything spotless...its very annoying. i can put it in gear, cut off the car , and rock it back and forth and still hear it...hmm i guess ill have to replace everything till it stops, ill start with rotors, then caliper, then a new car...just funny how i fix one thing than another than another...soon ill have 10k invested and in debt..
changed all the fluids less than a month ago, when i bought the car.. and it did to turn to be the rotor....so i took the rotors off my buddys z and replaced his, to save money, i am going to take his old ones to the school and have them turn them for free...so thanks for everything !
