Re: Horsepower!

Maybe from JWT, no guaranty but it seems like the place to check. 310hp from an NA is very unlikely. A JWT ECU sure isn't going to do it. Maybe a 150hp shot of nitrous...

Re: Horsepower!

Have you considered the traditional approach? Remove motor, blueprint motor, bore over, new cam, bigger better pistons, underdrive pulleys, port and polish heads, bigger injectors, better ignition, ported TB, remove A/C(not me), better header, better exhaust, ect............ you get the picture.
But Zen is right, 310 is high for an NA, NOS is GOD.

Re: Horsepower!

i too have an 86 n/a and want hp out of it, but 310 is a little out there. you would have to do some MAJOR mods and spend a substantial amount of money to achieve that. my goal is around 250 and thats with nitrous. but if yoiu think about it, thats all you would need to move a car this small across a camaro's face.

Re: Horsepower!

xxtacy...good luck on trying to convert your Z with the rb20det engine or any other ZR JDM engine..the swap needs to be fueled by your wallet..and even if you get it done with minimal cost..emissions is a bitch..i had trouble getting my car into emissions..so i had someone else tweak it for me..since i had no idea what I was doing.
