Are you talking about the in-tank sending unit?

RTFM. a prybar under the wire loop and out she comes. it might stick a little but it willl come out. might as well get a new one to replace as the old iron bar with carbon tracks are usually useless by now. courtesy nissasn used to have them

As far as I know the sender is ok ,I wanted to check the tank to see what was left in it .condition of the fuel ,it is not pumping
I dont want to destroy the sensor . Mine is stuck I tried lifting easy by the nibs on top thought it had to turn a bit

No just takes a little effort. I was hesitant the first time I took one out but found just needed a longer lever with a piece of 2x4 as a fulcrum.

I jumped the pump and it makes noise but not pumping I will prime it when I get the chance , it set for 8 yrs?
I have 2 cars and a truck I need for trans so the Z31 T and a 69 SPL 311 are toys I alternate driving in warm weather when times are good and with premium near $4 the roadster was winning that decision .
