to get it in the tank, put it in where you put the gas pump when you get gas. this is the only one near the back of the car. then find the brake booster hose. it should pretty much be the one going from the manifold to the brake booster, or something like that. look that up. put some in there. then put a bit in where you put the oil in. use amounts as instructed

Stop dicking with it!

Go wash or something if you really really feel the need to touch it.
Perhaps even detail it if you have the urge.

Actually, you should detail it. That will do several things for you.

1) You'll feel amazing about your new purchase since it will sparkle.
2) You'll start to learn the car, inside and out.
3) You'll also feel like you've done something to make the car better (which seems to be what you're trying to do with rebuilding the engine and sea foaming the engine)

Don't take what I'm saying the wrong way. I just don't want you to tear apart something that works and not be able to put it back together. I've done it several times.

Not really....I think that would be great. Because if you still want something to tinker with. Just have another project car sitting around. Works for me...Oh wait, my daily driver is a constant project. lol Actually he is pretty reliable, just showing his age.

Yeah I agree with the people that have posted. Just leave it alone, and enjoy it. Definately give her a bath. And detail her, and make it look pretty. You will be quite proud of it. And keep up on the payments. Nice purchase.

ok i guess it'll wait till Saturday(my day off) and give her a good bath inside and out. but i still feel weird about the check engine light it's been on ever since i got it and it kinda bugs could it be due to me needing to change the tranny and engine oil?

definately not tranny, and unlikely to be engine oil. (i say unlikely because i just don't know). it's probably a sensor or something. it's unlikely that seafoam would help extinguish the light, because if anything, that stuff is often said to damage sensors, like Otiny2 sensors

they will charge you $100 to ask where the OBD port is, then when they find out that your car is pre OBD they will send you out the door...

they bend you over and dont use lube.......

Well that tiny bit of information changes a few things...

Do what they said and do the self check.

dude i understand your need to work on the new car. and the check engine light i understand you wanting to fix. but rather then rebuilding the engine and mess, if you have to do something, drive it! go on a trip! lol then when you get back you might actually have something to work on!
