More expensive than what? An L28? Price is relative to what you want done....

LOL. yeah my bad. i dont know how i didnt get that even though i see you say for your Z31 lol. same difference. and from your timidness of playing with carbs i think it might be best to have the machine shop do most/all the work.

Is it the motor in Hoov's Z31 that you want to rebuild? What's wrong w/ the motor? And depending on what you want done, expect $1k-$2k.

do not even think about touching that motor. 200k is nothing for that car, you WILL not touch that motor until the car is paid off.

Tis a good point... technically it's not yours until you have the title (or loan paid off).

the car had more of a girl personality, you literally had to treat it like a woman to drive it good and for her to be good to you.

Yeah. My backyard or garage. Give me $10k and I'll build you the biggest, baddest VG(SOHC) you can find.

dude, im kinda jealous, you get a Z31 the kind i want. because i dont care about them much so i'd beat on it, turbo, lsd, and teh strong tranny. the perfect car imo to work on and make a real racer (inexpensive and easy to work on to!) i really wish hoov was closer i would have straight traded him for my 260T woulda been fun. lol.

I drove the '83 essentially coast to coast this last summer with no problems

(and everywhere in between including NYC, Chicago, and Las Vegas!)

... but I did kill a bird with the headlight bucket
