Any help appreciated.

NLA. You have to find a good used one or fix yours. I fixed mine by taking just the float out of one in the junkyard. The tangs on the float break off (four of them), corrode or lose contact. The are easy to work on.

Dont but the whole thing from the JY. Just remove, dissemble and check the float first. The first one I bought, the float was bad. Lesson learned. Digital and analog both had can style. The floats are all the same, but the center rail has different resistantance between analog and digital.

Additonally, they charge you next to nothing for the float and more for an entire FLSU, I’m cheap too.

Thanks for the info, is there a certain way the float has to go back in the tube, you know 2 tangs in the center and 2 on the outside to match the bar, can it be put in wrong? I know you can't put it in upside down for risk of tearing the tangs up, but does it have a particular side it has to mate to.

You could install it wrong yes. It is pretty obvious when you look at it closely.

This is is the top. 2 in the middle and 2 on each end.

Ok. Know that but is one side of the float supposed to work a particular side of the bar or does it matter.

Not to sound sarcastic, but if the float has the tangs in a certain spot wouldn’t you think the rail would too? Take it apart you will see. 😀
