Digi Dash to Analog Dash

Before I get slammed, I did the search and went through 5 pages of results. I have the dash and harness from my '79 donor car which is the analog. I was comparing the harnesses before starting and noticed that the cruise control doesn't exist in the analog harness. Has anyone run into this? I need my dd back together soon and the digi dash seems tyo have an issue that spins the end off of the speedo cable. It's hard to spin by hand unlike the analog that spins very easy. Nismo, if you can find a link for me(you usually do) that would be excellent. Thanks guys and gals.

The turn signal / combo switch isn't part of the dash wiring. But I could provide a mountain of links on how to convert from analog to digital / digital to analog... or you could type in "analog digital" into the search feature.

As for the speedo cable... it attaches the same on both analog & digital... maybe use a lil bit of wheel bearing grease to ease it on?

Well the swap turned into a fix. I have a bad habit of taking things apart to see if it can be fixed. In this case it could. The daisy wheel for the optical scanner was rubbing on the OS housing causing it to bind. It seems that the last time I replaced the dash I pushed the speedo cable in to far and it pushed the wheel forward. I see too many variances between the harnesses to move forward with the change until I can spend more time deciphering the wiring diagrams. Thanks for the tip tho. I did a search on "digital to analog" and there is plenty of info but nothing descriptive on the issue at hand.

Now to hook the digital clock up to my 12V power supply and see if I can find the short.
