I have a 1987 N/A 2+2 that I bought new in 1986. While driving the brake light, door open light and battery light illuminate and stay on. The volt meter still shows a positive charge of about 14 volts. Is the alternator going out? Thanks!

Indeed... sounds like a dying alternator. Drive it (if possible) to your local parts store and have them do an alternator & battery load test.
