I have a 86 300zx turbo with dual side feed injectors an two injectors have gone bad from the connectors an a friend of mine gave me a set of six top feed injectors from a 84 300zx turbo just wanted to know if i needed to change anything to get them to work or do i just drop them i know you have to shave a little of the manifold to have them sit right plz any help would be apriciated.

From what i have read the 84 an 86 turbo cars had low impedance injectors what else should i change or is it just pluggin them in

 

Top feed & side feed use different fuel rails. You will need to use top feed fuel rails with top feed injectors.

 

i have a set of top feed rails an injectors from a 84 turbo do i just swap them in no other thing needed

 

the injectors were recalled in the 84-89 z's. (im pretty sure it was all of them) look it up, get them for free.
