injector question

injector question

is there a quick way to take out an injector with out taking the fuel rail off or cutting the hose?

I know i know i should get a palnet.

Yeah... it sucks taking off the stock fuel rail, but it's easier than trying to replace a fuel injector w/ the rail still on.

yeah got it off pretty quick and installed on the other z. lefta 40' tread of rubber on the ground.

on a lighter note i met a guy that has a 260 for sale a whopping 150 for it. small rust hole in the floor and the fuel tank is out of it.

yes there is a way to get it off without taking off the rail
but only if its one of the first or last 2 injectors. ive done it a fewtimes. its teadeous but it can be done. you just have to be careful not to break the seals on the other injectors.

It's not even worth trying to take off one injector without pulling the stock rail. I got pretty good that I could pull it all apart and reassemble within about 2 hours. I'd almost say if you've got any injectors leaking and you can afford it. Replace all 6 injectors. It will save you a lot of headache. I did this twice before I learned my lesson.

Oh I Got One Out And Swapped Into The Other Car... No Problems Did It In About An Hour.
