#1: It's BW (for Borg Warner) T5 transmission.
#2: No, you do not need to swap ecu's.

Straight shift = old school lingo meaning "manual transmission". I'm pretty sure only 50yr+ old racing guys would ever call it that.

hey dude i asked if a non turbo fly wheel will work on my car because my car is turbo the correct answer is yes, non turbo zs used a 240 mm flywheel and so did the 84 to 86 turbo. Now the 87 to 89 turbos used a 250 mm flywheel. And thanks for your help. im just gonna get a na flywheel mon. And do i have to put in the trans with the wiring harness, cause i was just gonna jump my neutral saftey switch for now, then i can run my own wiring later, is that okay? and thanks for the list, and youre help bro!

all 84-89 na cars and 84-86 turbo cars had the same 240mm flywheel. I have a 240mm fly wheel for $50 shipped, a brand new never used Nissan OE clutch kit for $125 shipped. Both fit the above cars. I also have a complete 5 speed conversion with 5 speed but it's local pickup only.

Get hardened bolts of the proper grade or suffer failure.

Can i buy hardned bolts from some where else besides nissan and off the computer, or should i just go to nissan and pay And thanks for offering me that fly wheel and clutch kit man, but i already got some from napa.damet! are the front seals on these transmissions vunurable to leaking? I ordered the rear seal, and the front of the trans i got is dirty looks black like dryed oil with clutch fibers! Maybe the dudes engine seal was leaken or maybe that front gasket on the trans is leaking should i just put tranny fluid in it and stand it up on the bell housing and leave it there for a couple days to see if it leaks? And thanks for helping me guys ive never took on a job this big, and certian people dowt me, so help me prove them wrong, also is there any way i can check to see if this trans is good before i put it in?

Check the gear oil in the transmission for metal particles.

Fact: If your 5-Speed tranny will not fit with your auto mount. Then no.

My 82zx has an automatic transmission mount from an 81zx, with an RB20det Engine and 5-Speed Tranny... Completely different engine, and mount.

Crossmember. Also known as: Banana. That has weights on it.

Weight: What every car aims for. Not speed or handling. Heaviness.
