oh no rusty frame!

I picked up an 88 n/a here recently. Well today I found out that there is a pretty good size rust hole on both sides of the car on the rear portion of the frame. I didn't get a close look at it to judge how bad it is exactly. But from what I understand if the frame is rusted the cars basically screwed. Is it worth actually getting under the car and attempting to repair the frame, if so how? Or should I just run it until it dies and not waste dumping more money into this car?

Any rust can be fixed for a price. My front sub frame was rotting and the right side was kinked because of my wife hitting a T pole with it. Frame rails were rotting and I flunked safety inspections.

I had the nose of the car cut off from the firewall forward and a new one grafted on. That gave me new frame rails too. Fixed the floor rot too.
