Sounds like the shop thinks you are a sucker (which may be true given your last "tire" situation).
#1: Calipers don't need to be replaced unless they have been damaged (wrecked or too far worn pads). They can be rebuilt if they are sticky or leaking (but reman calipers will usually be more cost effective).
#2: Rotors can be machined unless they will be under spec (rotors can usually be machined 2-3 times unless they are too warped).
#3: Buy and install ceramic pads from Autozone (lifetime warranty... yes... pay once for a lifetime of pads).
#4: If you want a brake upgrade, search for "Z32 caliper upgrade". We've covered it in detail.
Side note, if you (you meaning any half able bodied male) can't do your own brakes, you shouldn't own a car.

It's a different shop. And I of course picked it up to do the brakes myself. I was told that the calipers hang up on something making the wobble. Idk I haven't seen it "hanging up" on anything while lifted and spinning the wheel but it only happens when you drive it for a little while like time for the brakes to get warm.. Thanks for the advice

Shaking when you hit the brakes is usually rotors. You can buy rebuild kits for your calipers for like $10 each..
People give me **** for this, but I have had very good luck with reybestos brand rotors and pads, even with a few track days/autox's they are still wearing very nicely.
Whatever rotor you do go with, put it on a brake lathe and make sure it's true, I have seen new out of the box rotors from the dealer be up to .020 out, same with those "brembo" rotors on ebay....

autozone, carquest, oreily's, pep boys, napa... every time anyone I know takes their car to midas, meineke, or pep boy they always tell them they need rotor and caliper and new caliper pins... see what you dont' realize is that guy works on comission.. there for if he doesn't sell you work he doesn't get paid!start with rotors and pads and lube your slider pins with caliper grease....Originally Posted by 87z
