I recently replaced my front pads and I continuously have squeeking front brakes. Is there a solution to the madness.

Also, I have just notice a puddle of brake fuild on my garage floor and it's not from me over filling the brake fuild container either? What would make the master cyclinder or the brake servos go out?

Are the two related me changing the pads and now the brake servo or master cyclinder leaking?

I got the rotors machined. I was told yesterday that I should have used nissian pads instead of the napa semi's. I only did the front brakes.

I'll be doing the rear brakes next week

 

I'll double check everything tomorrow.

I am just hoping to not have to spend another Saturday morning tinkering with the car and running to the parts store.

Did you use the brake glue for squeeking. Also a freind told me to bevel the edges just a touch at the top and bottom of the pad. I havent done it yet but am planning on after hunting season. My brakes squeek when I only apply light pressure, but if I release and reaplly it goes away. As for your leak I would check you connections. Do you have braided brake ines? If not get some they are like $20.00 for the set and are so worht it. You dont have any give or fade in you pedal. This is because standard brake lines expnad under pressure the braided one dont. My brake pedal travels only about 1 inch from nothing to complete lock up. It does take a little getting use to.

Well it was good for me. I gave the filters to the person who bought the Z. The brake lines are awesome they make a huge difference.
