Just finished cleaning all the water out of my car from the leaking T tops the previous owner didn't dry up.

Lotttssss of rusty brown water oozing from places but it's gone now and the carpet is dry again. =)

I vacuumed everything, removed the rear faded dirty spoiler but left the spoiler light because I will be ordering a roadrunner style spoiler for my z31.

Here is my progress on cleaning the car as it had nothing but tons of junk in the hatch and carpet was filled with grass, dirt, water, and leftover chicken finger crumbs and food crumbs everywhere embedded into the carpet...should have taken a before photo but going forward I will...let me know what you think...








After next week when I get paid I am going to order new White neon pile carpet for the seated area and hatch area...new leather keychain that says Datsun =)...ciper auto seat brackets with new seats as the current ones are shot and I want to lighten some weight...gonna hold off on the harness bar and harness for now....ordering new weather stripping I found online for my tops for the left right and roof side. I found it on nissan parts.com so according to that site for a 1986 2 seater 300zx the part numbers are correct so crossing fingers...and yes suppossedly brand new...total will be 1000.00 for all that and then I have to fix my windshield resevoir leak which I am not sure how to go about finding the issue (as soon as water is added to it it starts draining to the underside of the car through the drain channels of the car and on to the concrete through the body somehow)..I will post pics and ask questions as I am not a mechanic at all lol.

Trying to slowly restore this work of art....here is the paint job I will be going for in the coming future...



This is the "8b8 toyota metallic light blue" I want..it's mezmorizing and with white carpet and blue seats it would make my z31 beautiful looking.

I know it's a toyota color but I am in love with it for some reason. What do you guys think?...possible best colors for a z31?

Just ordered new seats last night along with new T top weatherstripping for the roof side, left, and right for the 2 seater from nissanparts.com.

Looks like I will have to do it myself after I saw guys mentioning 700 bucks of labor to install. I'll be doing some homework on it now lol.
