wiring diagrams

Does anybody have wiring diagrams for the 83 turbo? I can't find any of my diagrams except for 81 cause those were in my car. I think I lost the rest of them in the move. So if somebody could help me out here I'd really appreciate it. My email is jfairladyz@yahoo.com

Thanks

Good deal Nismo. Much appreciated. A late night wiring free for all this time of year would render me fingerless by morning time It's too damn cold

Are 83 and 82 wired up the same. I assume the wiring itself is the same but what about wire colors? Are those the same?

Thanks man, I just found my 81 turbo wiring diagram. Not exacly what I was looking for but for the most part it's the same as my NA so I should be able to go with this. If I run into any problems though I'll let you know. Thanks for the offer.

SHADY, that'd be great. I've lost all my diagrams except for most of 1981 (missing a couple pages) and I've still got all of 82. I lost all my 79 and 80 diagrams. I think I'm going to go order a new manual tomorrow. The one I have is in pieces. I have to sort through the pages to find what I need. It's just a stack of ripped hardly legible pages. But thats what I get for leaving it on the floor of a leaky Z for a few months

You Should See The Diagram For A 79 I Got, It Is In Full Color On Glossy, It Came With The Factory Manual. Its All One Piece Too, No More Chasing Pages.

hey j
I have the same diagram for the 1980. I wonder if I can scan the whole darn thing...maybe at Staples, whaduya think? I wonder if they would have a large enough scanner. I'll give it a go anyway and see what they say...its the size of approx 6- 8X11 sheets placed side by side on the 11" side...

Man, I want diagrams like those. I hate going from page to page and having to count how many wires down I am cause my diagrams aren't colored or all in one like that. I decided I'm just going to run the entire wiring from the 82 into my 81. So basically, after this turbo swap and everything else I'll have an 81 chassis, with the wiring, electronics, and steering from an 82, and engine from an 83. Parts store nightmare I better keep track of what parts belong to what year. I'm also going to cut open the harness and cut out all the extra crap I dont need like the warning system and what not. Thats my project for the next couple of days. I've got the engine set in but it's not bolted up and everything is pretty much stripped off of it. I'll post up pics and stuff once I've finished everything. I've got to find a new down pipe too as mine is trashed from trying to get the old rusted out exhaust off. That should be fun with such limited funds

Anybody have the wiring diagams for the digital dash? I figured they'd atleast be similar in the rear and NONE of my wire diagrams cover the digital cluster.

Yeah I saw that. The only problem is I'm trying to get this wiring harness finished ASAP so I can stick it all back in the car.

I'm going to have to get 2 service manuals. One for 81 and one for 82/83. My car is pieced together from all 3 years so no single manual will cover my car Right now I'm working on a custom wiring diagram specifically for my odd wired car. My problem right now is that my dash is wired with an 81 NA harness with a few extra wires spliced in. That then runs to an 82 wiring harness that is from a car originally equipped with the digital cluster so a bunch of the wires are different in that harness. Then the engine and it's harness are from an 83. And mixed into the main harness are elements from both the 82 and my 81. It's been a fun process but I'm ready to just get it done. It hasn't been very difficult up until now cause of this damn digital crap. I can figure it out from the wires in the harness but it'd be a lot easier with a diagram.
