Since nobody else has any thoughts on this, I would guess that it won't work very well.
The NA air flow meter is sending a signal to the ECU but the ECU translates that differently thinking there is boost. Other sensors that the turbo ECU need are just not there. Your engine will not run perfect. It might idle and drive ok at low rpms, but either run rich or lean at higher rpms. This is just a guess. I've never heard of anyone doing this swap.
You can easily sell that ECU and buy a non-turbo one, or trade it.

i gotta ECU for sale out of NA 81...im going with megasquirt for my standalone...hell send me a case of beer and pay for shipping and you can have it :P
but yeah it wont work...when you open the throttle the AFM sends the computer signal that turbo is boosting (way more air) so it dumps fuel to keep up to the boost...so you will be rich...

I had the same problem when I got my Z. Both cables were red, and they both went into a plastic sleeve, so I couldn't see which cable went where. I only fried my fusible links, luckily. However, I did drive the car home without replacing the links ... it was just a pain in the *** not having the gauges register anything, having no lights, or signals at 10:00 at night ...
The fusible links should be the only problem. Unless they were bridged or bypassed, then you might have severe electrical damage. Good luck on that, man.
Hope this helps,
