Will a Hood for a 79 280zx fit on an 83?

Will a Hood for a 79 280zx fit on an 83?
I have the opportunity to buy a hood which came off a 79 280zx, but am not sure if it is the same size as the 83 280zx hood? I know the 82 & 83 parts are interchangable though. Does anybody know?
