Water Pump

Can anyone tell me the signs and/or sounds of a water pump failing?
1981 280zx.

It seizes, screeches, leaks, and/or doesn't move the coolant...

Does it only screech at load, idle or both?

my water pump pulley has a little bit of a wobble to it, i think i might change it out

Overheating, coolant on the ground & block.... If you think it's bad, change it. Better safe than sorry.
