Turbo Rebuild?

Well I had my turbo looked at and the mechanic said it was shot to all hell, and that it needed to be rebuilt.

A) Anyone done it?
B) Know where to find a rebuild kit?

I have the shop rebuild manual, and how hard could it be?

Thanks,

I've had my turbo rebuilt... I wouldn't do it myself.

Your local turbo shop.

It's not hard, but must be VERY precise. If you've never rebuilt a turbo, I STRONGLY suggest having a shop rebuild it. They should waranty their work... which is something you can't really provide yourself.

I would imagine there are tons of turbo shops in Dallas... call around & compare prices.
